Privacy of information

Information privacy and data privacy such as the (EPIC – Electronic Privacy Information Centre) prevents from and random people trying to access private information such as healthcare records, criminal records, financial records etc. ‘Data Protection Act 1998’ this is a legislation to protect peoples private information so no one without access is able to get hold of the information.

If data it found to be copied then there could be serious consequences and the copier could be taken to court, they'll either be sent to jail or have to pay a fixed penalty.

To prevent people from hacking into your personal information and details there is the 'Data Protection Act 1998'.  There are people in the organisation that keep all the data protected by using firewalls and hacking software to keep all the hackers out.
